UL Certified – What it Means

The UL Mark is a certification seal of Underwriters Laboratories. Underwriters Laboratories has been testing and writing safety standards for various types of electrical products, appliances, materials and systems since 1894 and has become the gold standard in product safety world-wide.

The UL certification symbol should be present on all products that have been approved.  As there are many counterfeit products on the market especially when it comes to electrical power bars and connectors, consumers should be proactive and be familiar with the UL symbol to be able to recognize it when buying a product.
